Deffo Media supports athletics in Scotland with collaboration across RunThrough events

RunThrough is one of the UK’s largest running and community event organisers. From 5K’s to major half marathons, they host over 300 events and 400,000 finishers.

Some of RunThrough’s most popular events are hosted in Scotland, from the Edinburgh Running Festival to the Babcock 10K Series.

Race Coverage with RunThrough

Since 2025, Deffo Media has worked with RunThrough to ensure high-quality race coverage across their catalogue of events.

This collaboration involves us attending different events in the RunThrough calendar, offering our expertise in live videography with sports and beyond to capture the day in a way RunThrough can use to promote future events.

Babcock 10K Series

The Babcock series comprises three races across the West of Scotland from Glasgow to Dumbarton and Helensburgh. In 2025, the series included the iconic 10K event hosted by Shettleston Harriers which was included in the Glasgow Green section of the series.

Deffo Media have been responsible for on-the-day videography at the event since 2025, showcasing the best bits from the event for videos and reels on social media.

Edinburgh Running Festival

The Edinburgh Running Festival offers an unforgettable challenge, with a road-closed course set at Holyrood Park across the 5K, 10K and Half Marathon distances.

For 2026, Deffo Media were asked to capture the event with live videography at one of the most unique races in Scotland.

The festival is famed for combining the excitement of a city race in the capital with one of the country’s most striking spots at Arthur’s Seat.
