One of Deffo Media’s earliest partners, Vinco offers premium athletics broadcasting through their own live-streaming service. From high-quality event coverage to in-depth analysis and exclusive scoops, Vinco has always been regarded at the forefront of British athletics.
Since 2023, the company has joined forces with RunnerSpace to expand their international coverage that produces content for clients, including World Athletics and the Wanda Diamond League.
Our Role
For 2026, Deffo Media has not only continued to support Vinco by creating content and running the social media accounts for the Wanda Diamond League but has now also helped support the content creation and production for an array of events on home soil.
Our goal is to create engaging content on social media that garners organic engagement and drives people to watch the livestreams on the Vinco and RunnerSpace platforms.
Wanda Diamond League
The world’s premier, one-day athletics series, the Wanda Diamond League encompasses 15 of the sport’s most prestigious single-day meets across the globe, featuring renowned events taking place in cities like Paris, London, Oslo and Eugene, with both men and women competing across 16 of athletics’ primary disciplines.

Diamond League events unfailingly attract the world’s very best athletes, and as such, the brand’s digital and social media presence deserves to be of a correspondingly outstanding standard.
Deffo Media’s primary role is to support Vinco in the creation of social content for the Diamond League alongside running its social media channels from day to day.
English Schools
The English Schools’ Athletic Association is responsible for the organisation of multi-disciplinary athletics events at regional, national and international level. They work with Vinco to livestream some of their biggest events of the year, including the Track & Field Championships at the Alexander Stadium in Birmingham and the Cross Country Championships.
English Schools’ events are widely regarded as some of the biggest and best on the Vinco channels.
For 2026, Deffo Media have focused on not only promoting the livestreams as they happen but also retrospectively sharing stories from events through reels that increase engagement for the on-demand content and future events.
- 250% increase in impressions across Vinco social media channels
- 69% increase in engagements on Vinco social media posts
- 57% more people clicking on links included in Vinco posts
British Milers Club
The British Milers Club is the UK’s premier middle-distance athletics club. While they host a range of events, Vinco livestream the Grand Prix and Record Breaker sessions, which feature some of the best British athletics action and athletes.
Similarly to the English Schools’ social media coverage, our objective for BMC is to generate clickthroughs to the livestreams as these events are happening. We focused not only on social media content but also regular mail campaigns to add another arm of advertising towards Vinco.
- 31% more people opening Vinco mailers
- Over 300,000 total emails sent
Other Coverage
Vinco’s vast range of livestreams have to be considered when creating a content calendar across seven channels, plus frequent collaborations with the RunnerSpace social media platforms, to ensure all events are promoted but don’t overwhelm the audience.
On top of English Schools’ and the British Milers Club, we created social media content and mailers to promote livestreams for the National Athletics League and the Monaco Athletics Festival.
Not only that, but our frequent responsiveness to notable news events from the world of athletics on the Vinco social media channels reaffirmed the company’s prominent position at the forefront of athletics coverage.
Deffo Media supported Vinco’s push to be one of the first outlets to share the results each night from the European Athletics Championships in Birmingham; was one of the first to share Jakob Ingebrigsten’s controversial comments on Josh Kerr, and one of the earliest to announce the countries in contention to host the 2036 Summer Olympics.
All of this was done to help grow Vinco’s social media channels and in turn guide users towards the company’s streaming subscription service.
